Years go by, and our body constantly changes. The way we look, feel and act differs depending upon how old we are. Some of them we can control and some of them we cannot. We do decide what we eat everyday and if we follow an exercise program or not. It is up to us to decide the amount of food we take in and what we do to stay active. There is no one else to blame but ourselves when we fail to choose correctly.
Many people have told us about the dangers of obesity in various forms of media. If a person is overweight they put themselves at risk for many ailments that include high blood pressure, diabetes, and muscle and joint pain. But, it is also well known that these problems are also reversible. If a person decides to take control of their body then they can make some or all of these symptoms disappear. If this is what is desired than the choice must be made to take control of the situation and not let the situation be in control.
It is up to each person to choose why they need to start a fitness regimen because no person can do it for the same reason. Everybody has a different reason to get fit. You might choose to do it for someone you love. Some people think that others will like they way they appear if they would lose some weight. Still others might be up watching late night television and see an infomercial selling the latest and greatest six pack ab exercises program. The cause is not something to debate about. But the why must be important enough that it will keep you heading towards the healthy lifestyle you desire. If you don’t have strong will to lose the weight, then you are more likely to fail when you try to lose it. When you have the desire to complete a task it is much easier to say the course until the task is completed.
After finding a good reason, decide what it is you want to accomplish When you have something you want to attain, it is easier to stay on a path until you attain the weight loss that you desire. You have to pick a way that is conducive to the way you live your life. You figured out why and how much weight you want to lose based upon yourself and the way you do it is your choice too. Just because it worked for another person does not guarantee you success.
It is up to the person who has to live with the extra weigh to choose to get rid of it. No one but the person who needs to lose the extra pound can make the final decisions about the how, why and way to lose the unwanted weight.
